GUPT runs entirely in your browser: your identity is a keypair derived on your device — no signup, no phone number, no email. Messages, calls, files and the built-in password, note and bookmark vaults are encrypted locally before they leave, and the relays that carry them only ever hold ciphertext. Voice, video and screen sharing flow peer-to-peer over WebRTC.

Self-hosting is first-class: run it from Docker, one-click on your Umbrel home server, or install the native Linux app from Flathub (flatpak install flathub com.besoeasy.gupt). Source and issues live on GitHub.
